No problem. Your art holds many qualities I wish I could put into mine. I just get too rushed I guess.

I noticed that you said you use mental ray. Are you using it as part of Maya, or soem other program? I'm asking because I've been wondering if there is any benefit to using mental ray over the maya software renderer. I don't have any sort of formal education, I'm just self taught at this, so I'm a little in the dark.

I'm using Mental ray integrated with Maya. I preffer mental ray for my scenes because it has a WAY (I mean it!) faster ray-tracing (which i use often for shadow/reflection calculation) than the Maya Software and by now it supports most of maya functions. I have no formal education either
